According to the Taipei Times, Taiwan’s Shilin District Court ruled that Yan had recorded the videos of himself having sex with a minor – when Yao Le was 16 – fromDecember to June with the intention of sharing them.
The court handed down a seven-month prison sentence, which was suspended for three years and can be commuted to a fine, after Yan reached a settlement in March with Yao Le, a Taiwanese influencer. The settlement sum was not disclosed due to a confidentiality agreement between the two men.
Yan – who rose to fame in as a member of Taiwanese noun band Fahrenheit – was also slapped with another sentence of four months imprisonment for contravening the Personal Data Protection Act, for sending the images to two people.
