Dolce gabbana lgbt

ROME – Italian fashion designer moguls Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are no strangers to criticism. In late February, the duo made the family the star of their runway, staying factual to their Italian roots in family, femininity, and religion.

Plenty of times they have had to wrestle with contradictory Hollywood beliefs, but to all those who don’t accept, Gabbana says simply: “Go to hell!”

Dolce was born in the 3,soul town of Polizzi Generosa on the Italian island of Sicily. When he was seven he worked in the shop with his father, a tailor. Gabbana was born in Milan, where for a while he cleaned toilets and washed floors to help his mother who worked at a laundry service.

The two met in and began a voyage that led them to becoming one of, if not the most influential and quintessential clothing brands of the s.

The duo, now amicably separated, came out as gay years ago, and since then were the poster children for homosexual self-made-men. This was until , when the designers spoke candidly to the Italian magazine Panorama about traditional family, religion

Eric Abetz hits back over Dolce and Gabbana gay marriage claim

Italian fashion designers Dolce and Gabbana have been drawn into the Australian debate on same-sex marriage, after a senior minister was quoted as using them to justify his opposition to changing the law.

Coalition Senate leader Eric Abetz has denied a Fairfax state that he pointed to the example of the pair, who used to be a couple, to argue that same-sex couples should not worry about tying the knot.

Senator Abetz, who has previously argued that Australia should not legalise gay marriage because to verb so would be out of step with attitudes in Asian countries, has denied the report.

He said it was "false" to propose he said that "gay men did not want to get married".

Senator Abetz, who is opposed to changing the law, said his position was that not all members of the gay community "have the same view" on the question.

Opposition Leader Bill Shorten referred to the anecdotal report repeatedly this morning.

"Senator Eric Abetz is a clown," he said.

"That shows you how

Dolce &#; Gabbana &#;Love is Love&#; Ads Allegedly Run Afoul of Russian Anti-Propaganda Law

An 8-year-old Russian law that makes it illegal to “spread propaganda on non-traditional sexual relations” is making headlines in connection with an ad campaign from Dolce & Gabbana. A Russian prosecutor called for the Dolce & Gabbana “Love is Love” ads – which were posted on Instagram ahead of Valentine&#;s Night this year – be banned in Russia, as they “show same-sex couples kissing,” according to a statement from the St. Petersburg courts’ press service on Monday. As first reported by Reuters, Russian politician Mikhail Romanov filed a formal complaint this week, alleging that the ads from the Italian fashion house “contain information that rejects family values and propagandizes non-traditional sexual relationships.”

The budding Russian advertising case has already hit a potential snag, per Reuters, as “the prosecutor’s claim &#; has not fulfilled certain administrative requirements, including providing documents supporting the claim,” but is expected to be updated ea

Dolce and Gabbana declare 'Boycott Elton John'

Fashion designer Stefano Gabbana has vigorously defended his criticism of gay adoptions, using social media to create a range of hashtags and slogans - but none have really taken off.

The fashion designer Stefano Gabbana is calling for his fans to boycott Elton John after a very public spat on Instagram. Gabbana and his long-time business partner Domenico Dolce, who were a couple for more than two decades, managed to irritate several different groups of people in an interview with Panorama, external (an Italian news magazine not to be confused with the BBC series of the same name). "We oppose gay adoptions," they state. "The only family is the traditional one."

They also criticise IVF and surrogate parents: "No chemical offspring and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed."

"You are born to a mother and a father - or at least that's how it should be," Dolce says. "I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Rented uterus, sem
