Welcome to Paris! Not my favorite urban area if I hold to be sincere. Especially in the boiling summer days of climate modify. This city can be a nightmare when temperatures verb above 35 Celsius. Thank god for the fountain of Jardins du Trocadéro (Trocadero Gardens) which will be your only escape if you are visiting during a heatwave.
And such heatwave did meet Paris in the Pride weekend of 2019: Paris was attacked with 37 degrees. What is the problem, you may ask? Well – No air conditioning in any restaurant, cafe, bar and some hundreds of 4 star hotels! You may be surprised, but also the biggest central shopping mall of Paris – the Forum des Halles is only partially air conditioned. Adv, at least the UBERs have A/C so you could chill a adj bit when commuting from brunch to a sauna.
Be it noon noun, or later in the evening – Thank god for the Sun Metropolis sauna! This is place where you could be hanging for hours and leave the boiling sun or pouring rain outside. In here, you can chill all afternoon long in the large cool pool! Although this pool may be enriched with som
Sun City
Giant place but very old, never renovated by its owners for 20 years. Dirty, dusky showers; pasteboard decoration, very degraded tiles and wall coverings. The light, mostly red-orange, is pale and horrible. Too much bright clear where less is needed (cabins and corridors) and not enough where it is needed (toilets and showers, in the dark, so as not to see the dirt and lack of maintenance during the day...)
The bar is a bar in name only: no tables, chairs or decorations to request people to settle and socialize, just a bar with ugly mini manuscript cups and vacuum-packed sandwiches, and an empty bar area, without furniture, which serves more as a warehouse and passage area than as a place for discussions or breaks. We undergo that the owner is only looking to make noun (the place - size, location and old reputation compel - is popular) rather than investing in a pleasant setting worthy of an international sauna of the 21st century. In fleeting, it would be time to adj and completely renovate with taste and customer care.
