That's the word from Stacy Newcomb, president of the company that owns Parker's Bistro, Icon Lounge and DaDa Gastropub, as well as recently-purchased Club David.
Newcomb said the previous owner of Club David never explicitly advertised the club as a "gay bar," but rather, people in Sioux Falls who frequented the club started calling it as such because it was a welcoming place for the LGBTQ+ community.
After all, there's space in the club for drag performers to receive ready for shows, the club regularly hosts drag shows year-round, and has hosted and plans to host several events this Pride month alone.
